I'm Not Your Model Minority

This publication was created to dispell the model minority myth by including 11 narratives from both Asian and non-Asian BIPOC youth. These stories give insight on why the model minority myth is harmful and how it contributes to white supremacy and systemic racism.

Voice Your Vote

Voice Your Vote is a social media campaign that I created to provide resources, information, and actionable steps on how to vote during the 2020 presidential election for my peers attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

The Definition of Being a Hmong Woman

This article is a collection of narratives from the Hmong women in my life to show that we are more than mothers, sisters, wives, and caregivers. It showcases the realities of how Hmong women balance their traditions and American life.

Arts Midwest

I was a contributing writer in an article that captured the collaboration between Brazilian musician, Paulo Padilha, and UW-Stout's Music Department for his song, Outro Carnaval. Discussing behind-the-scenes of what it's like to collaborate during a global pandemic for students, faculty, and a musician.

Community Conversations

Bold Beginnings is a leadership program that helps students learn more about their leadership style and work collabortively in teams to create an event/work on a project they're collectively passionate about. My team decided to host an event on campus called, Community Conversations: A Discussion About Diversity and Inclusivity.

WestCAP

One of the projects for my capstone course in my undergraduate program, Professional Communication and Emerging Media, was to help design a new annual report design template for nonprofit organization, WestCAP.
